Call for Papers
The 4th International ELIPYKA Conference for the Fire Protection of Structures will take place at the Athens Conservatoire on Thursday 19 and Friday 20 March 2026, under the title: “Fire Engineering & Contemporary Challenges in Fire Safety”. The Conference aims to serve as a comprehensive platform for the exchange of knowledge and experience, addressing the latest challenges and developments in the fields of Fire Protection and Fire Engineering.
Conference topics include:
- Sustainability & Fire Safety
- Wildland Fires and Built Environment
- Facades and fire spread
- The science of Fire engineering and its application
- Tall Buildings and Complex Structures
- Current Legislation, Education and Training, Ensuring the Implementation of Fire Strategies
- Innovative Building Materials and Systems
- Challenges and Research in Fire Protection
Researchers and professionals are invited to submit short abstracts (200–250 words) relevant to the conference topics. All submissions will be evaluated based on originality, quality, and relevance to the conference themes.
The official languages of the Conference are Greek and English.
